“The Stream” Yoga Set
In Fall 2021, The Kent State Fashion School partnered with music artist, Maddie Indre, to hold a school-wide fashion competition. The concept of the competition was to create an activewear look inspired by Indre’s latest music video, “The Stream”. A panel of judges including Maddie Indre and Kent State’s Fashion Museum Director selected me as the winner. I was awarded a scholarship as well as had my garment displayed in the Kent State Fashion Museum. I am immensely proud of this accomplishment!
The Inspiration
I was inspired by the yoga and movements in “The Stream” music video. I wanted to create a look that would reflect the fluid movements of yoga through draping and ruching.
